Lepoh waterfalls, do the slide! [Video]

If you’ve read my previous post about Lambir waterfalls, you would see how majestic waterfalls are at Borneo island. Lepoh waterfalls, not as majestic but has a different attraction. An extreme slide much like what you get in Sunway Lagoon but generates much much more heart pumping thrills.

The Lepoh Waterfalls

This place is located at Hulu Langat, driving from PJ takes only about an hour plus. It has got a long 1.5 hours hike if you have the stamina to keep up the pace. 2 hours plus if you take rest stops in between. Terrain isn’t tough at all as you do not need special hiking gear to get all the way up. Although if it rains, it might get pretty slippery. When I visited Lepoh waterfalls, there wasn’t much crowd. I say this is due to the long distance steep hike.

Do prepare to fend of leeches if you’re going there after a rain. I didn’t encounter any leeches but I had friends who warned us about it. Bring ample food for breakfast and lunch. You can even setup a BBQ session if you’re up for it.

I believe we all have a purpose in life. Some of us may already found the reason to live, some of us not. Whatever it may be, don’t stop searching because life is short, make it count.

Here’s the meaning of my life – to inspire/help/guide others with what I’ve been given.

Below are some testimonies I’ve gathered in a short first 2 weeks of 2012.

When do you deserve to love and be loved in return?

You may be single or attached or heart-broken or trying to recover from a sour relationship as you’re reading this. But what you’re going to read here applies to everyone.

The only time you deserve to love and be loved in return is when you know what you’re doing with your life. True love isn’t just about the looks or the money. That is as shallow as any relationship can get. You might even argue with me that there are elements like being truthful, being earnest, being forgiving, being caring and all but true love only happens when you learn how to respect and admire the unique individual for who they are genuinely and what they do best with their life.

No one, and I mean no one would be truly in love with a person who beg for love and forgiveness. That is just loving out of sympathy, nothing more and nothing less. The day you have learn how to focus your energy in doing what you do best is the day everyone would see it and admire you for who you are. Humans can be blinded by love but we are no fool in recognizing what lies beneath that mask. We just choose to have faith and hope even though we could spot the ill patterns from experience. This will surely one day exhaust itself and he/she will wake up one day and realize why am I still sticking to this joker with multiple mask for? Who was I loving all these while?

So don’t waste your time chasing for love and companionship if you can’t focus on yourself individually. You don’t deserve love and be loved in return if you can’t be the best you can be in this life time. Go that extra mile and gain that respect and admiration and soon enough you’ll realize that you not only love yourself more, you are also a truly happy person. This will then make you worthy of loving someone and be loved in return.

Entire desired name because ‘World is a Stage’ is just simply too long for the iOS home screen.

How to create it for my website?
Creating this icon is pretty easy. All you need is your favorite graphic editor.

1. Create a 114px x114px icon in PNG format. This is a retina screen proof icon size. You can get away with 72px x 72px for iPads and 57px x57px for other iOS devices. (always 72dpi and you don’t have to worry about the corners and the iconic reflective shine, iOS does it for you!)

2. Name this icon ‘apple-touch-icon.png’

When we fall in love again, do we love better or worst?

First Love
I want you to unwind back to your first love. Who was him/her? It felt perfect didn’t it? It feels 100% because everything was for the very first time. There was nothing, no one else to compare it with. But what if the first love didn’t worked out as planned? You had to pick up a new love. The soul tie that was formed previously with your first love has to be cut. Could it be cut completely, or will there always be a thin line holding each others heart? (Admit if you will that there will always be a little soft spot for the first love as kryptonites are to Superman.)

Below are 2 theories on loving better or worst after a complete clean breakup.

Loving Worst
Because the soul ties are not completely cut away from the first love, therefore we are not able to form complete soul ties with the next partnership. The second love could only experience 90% of what’s left from the first love because the remaining 10% is forever with the first love. I could not imagine what’s gonna happen for the remaining lovers if the second or third one fails. The more we love the more soul ties we form and the less is given because now the love of 100% is divided.

Loving Better
Even with the soul ties attached to the first love. We are able to love more. This is because our hearts heal, what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger. And because it heals, we are able to give a complete 100% or 110%. The more we have loved the better we are at understanding ourselves and our partners. Our hearts have infinite love if only you choose to unlock it. And with each new lover, our love will always flow like a river endlessly to a new found love because that’s where hope is found.

Conclusion
We always love better. Even when we are afraid of getting hurt again in a second relationship. The reserved heart will open up the moment we realize our lover is giving their all sincerely. All doubts will be lifted and you will choose again to love with all you have and even more because our hearts do heal.

Subliminal messages from my dreaming self.

Most people dream in first person view. They are seeing things unfold from their own perspective. There are also some who dream from a third person point of view where they see themselves from a distance. But rarely do people dream about themselves interacting with oneself.

Pre-dream
I woke up at 7.30am after an early night of sleep. The weather was beautiful and I could hear the birds chirping happily away. Before I freshen myself up, I decided to go the the fridge first. Took an apple and munched away till the very last bit while replying some emails. Threw the apple and head for the showers. After putting on some clothes, I proceed to read some news and my eyes seems like they are dropping. I fall flat on my pillow with my body facing downwards and doze away.

The Dream
The dream started abruptly as I could see myself lying down on the bed from a first person point of view. The dream me then started to wake the sleep me literally by planting both hands on my shoulder trying to peel myself off the bed like a banana peel. The dream me was trying so hard I could feel my shoulder muscles tensed up. I woke up immediately after that.

Interpretation
1. I guess the dream me is trying to tell the sleep me that I’ve been sleeping too much and I should wake up.

2. Unconsciously I’m trying to tell myself that I should wake up from my bitterness and stop being bitter over nothing.

Some pictures from New Year’s Eve

Being an Aries, the confident part does show a lot in me. I would claim that every new year would be better than the one before but not this time for 2012. I was reluctant to enter 2012. I know I didn’t have a choice but there was this big clock flashing in my head buzzing me about 2012’s arrival and I didn’t like it. So for days, I’ve ponder upon this matter and came out with a few reasons on my weird instinct about 2012.

I don’t wanna grow old. Funny for a guy who is saying that when he’s just turning 30 and with looks that do not reflect 30 at all. Yeah, but I’ve said it. I don’t wanna grow old.

The bigger picture behind me not wanting to grow old is also because I think that I should’ve achieved more in my life before 30’s. It’s all too late for me to dwell over it but to play catch up and make sure I’m able to achieve the things I’ve envisioned for my life at 30. Reason for me feeling this way is also a stronger influence from a book I’ve finished reading just before 2012, Steve Job’s Biography – he started out from an average family and he achieved so much at 30.

So let’s not sit and wait for 2012 to pass us by. It’s the 8th of 2012 today. 1 week has passed and 47 weeks more to go for us to achieve what we want for this year. I wish you all a Happy New Year and God speed!

The Koala Hold – a position most babies love

I have this certain charm with babies where I’m like a baby magnet. (previous post) I noticed this when I was still a teenager. During big family gatherings, it’s surprising that most babies who resist my other aunts did not treat me the same way. They are fine with me carrying them.

If you didn’t know already, I love babies. In fact I love babies so much I wouldn’t mind getting one for myself but without the wife. (at this point of my life)
