I want to be an actor.

There are lots of things I would like to be in this lifetime.

  1. Astronaut
  2. All Blacks Rugby Player
  3. Big Time Criminal like Al Capone
  4. Spy much like James Bond
  5. Superhero like Mr. Incredible
  6. Villain like Lex Luthor
  7. Jet Fighter Pilot
  8. F1 Driver
  9. National Geographic wild-life photographer
  10. Professional Con Artist
  11. Professional Dancer
  12. Car Reviewer like Jeremy Clarkson
  13. Game Developer for Blizzard
  14. Rock Star like Aerosmith

So what does that has got anything to do with me wanting to be an actor? Most of the profession I’ve listed requires a lifetime to achieve. I can’t just spend 2 months of studying how to be a jet fighter pilot and fly one. Or take a F1 driving license and be competitive in the track next to Sebastian Vettel. Send a resume to Mi6 and be James Bond. No, it all requires a lifetime and dedication to achieve.

So, after I did some thinking and I realize that by being an actor, it’s the only way I could achieve almost all my want-to-be list of careers. May it be only 1 day of being a spy, F1 driver, it’s enough!

$1 Million or a Hot Body? [Poll]

An interesting poll done by Times magazine and 22% of Americans rather choose to have a hot body.

I’m quite sure I’ll pick the cool $1 Million cause I’m confident bout my body. But in another research, beautiful people are happier and tend to have more luck in getting richer. Hmm…

How about you?

2 simple ingredients for a long lasting relationship

Humans is on a constant change. It can be drastic or mild but we will not stop changing.

The person you fell in love with years, months, weeks ago might not be the person you fell in love with in the first place. It’s not their fault, it’s not your fault. It’s only human nature. We don’t stop growing, therefore our brain never stops learning. Each of us perceived the World as we want it to at different stages of our lives.

So, how on this God’s green Earth are we able to stay in sync with our loved ones? Communication. Any couple who fails to do so will end up in flames. I might only eat red apples today but you cannot assume that I’ll not switch to green apples after one fine day. It’s important to update your lover what new discoveries you have in life that you wish to pursue. Always work hard to be on the same page.

It doesn’t stop at communication though. Listening plays a role in this picture. Telling your lover what you want will not go well if you don’t bother listening to what your lover wants. A relationship will quickly wither down to complains, complains and complains only. Giving time for your lover to express their feelings might not be a simple matter. You might be willingly and immediately pouring out how your heart feels from time to time but your other half might be reluctant to share or change. So take time to listen to their inner struggles.

On a different note. It’s the royal wedding of Prince William & Catherine Middleton now. I wish them for a happily ever after marriage. You and I are all invited. Head on to the royal channel!

6 – 1 = 5 puppies left.

4 days away from home and living in a peaceful, serenity place where Angels sing to the rise of sun and spirits dance when the moonlight shines. El Sanctuary is the place I am at now. I’m here because of Diode Camp, school leavers camp for May 11th to 16th.

There are so many wonderful things for me to talk about this place for example; the food here has never failed to tingle my taste buds. The puppies lying around the pavement has never failed to capture my attention. The fresh air has never failed to make me feel much more calm. Even a million pictures can never convey my thoughts to you about this rustic place. You have gotta visit this place yourself.

Sadly though, the entry that I brought today ties in with a tragic. I’m here to bring a teary news that the 6 adorable golden retriever puppies that I’ve only get to know about for the past 4 days has caught up with an unfortunate event. 1 of them has chocked himself to death. After eating rapidly, he took a few steps away from the crowd and fall flat on the floor catching his last breath.

I did not get to see this unfortunate event. I believe I will definitely tear if I were to caught the death of the puppy in front of my eyes. Vincent, who is the owner of the little patch of Heaven tried his very best to save him but still God decided to bring him home after living on Earth for 2 months and 4 days. Pictures are all I can share now to remember the adorable puppy by. Rest in peace.

“Life is short, praise more, forgive more, love more.”

James Reads: Screw it, Let’s do it!

I’m not a keen reader to tell the truth, but a friend of mine encouraged me to read this book and he took the liberty to borrow me the book that he had borrowed from his friend.

Within the first chapter, the book has already caught my attention. Richard Branson has always been mold to be bold ever since he could start to walk. His drive to break World-records and the feats that he has achieved so far is because of how his family brought him up. His mother would ask him to race across the field with grass taller than himself while the parents drove all the way back. How many Asian family would allow such things to their kids? Most Asian families are too over protective with their children. Even the slightest fall or knocking on something would send their mothers screaming from the other end of the room.

Most Asian family over protect their kids. They don’t want them to grow up, they want to keep them safe in a bubble. And often times this only leads to destruction. They are too timid to try anything or do anything. They expect to be spoon fed their whole entire life.

Base on the title of Richard Branson’s book. Let me challenge you to “Screw it, Let’s do it!” to everything you face in life!

Filling the Cup

Cup of life, cup of love, cup of hopes, cup of career, cup of dreams…
Where did my cup go?

Do you have a cup?
If you do, how does it look like?
How big is it?
Where you bought it?
What do you fill it with most of the time?

This is my cup. It’s no ordinary coffee cup.
There’s more to it than what it seems.
This is my cup. Sitting on that shelf.
Avoiding the purpose of it’s nature.
This is my cup. Unshattered, Untouched.

This is my cup. Empty and tasteless.
Awaits dearly to be filled to the brim.
This is my cup. Selected out of the rest.
It will be served for the best of the best.
This is my cup. Polished, Prepared.

Life is good

I find life so incomprehensible, inconceivable, incredible, unbelievable, unimaginable, unthinkable; extraordinary, phenomenal, rare, sensational, spectacular; singular, uncommon, unique, unusual, unwonted; conspicuous, notable, noticeable, outstanding, remarkable; impressive, striking; animating, energizing, enlightening, enlivening, exciting, galvanizing, invigorating, stimulating; alluring, attracting, attractive, beguiling, bewitching, captivating, charming, enchanting, entertaining, enthralling, fascinating, interesting… need I go on any further?

Seriously, I couldn’t love my life more than this! I thank God for all the things He has showed and given me. I feel so blessed. Yes, I have to admit there are times that I do feel sad and in fact it still attacks me once awhile… but despite all those sour moments. What God has offered these days is totally worth it!

I’m so so so blessed, blest, blissful, blithe, can’t complain, captivated, cheerful, chipper, chirpy, content, contented, convivial, delighted, ecstatic, elated, exultant, flying high, gay, glad, gleeful, gratified, hopped up, intoxicated, jolly, joyful, joyous, jubilant, laughing, light, lively, looking good, merry, mirthful, overjoyed, peaceful, peppy, perky, playful, pleasant, pleased, satisfied, sparkling, sunny, thrilled, tickled, tickled pink, up, upbeat!

“My life rocks!”
